Tania Barrenetxea is a visual artist based in Bilbao, Spain. Her work constitutes an intimate narrative about identity and trauma. The artist employs raw vulnerability to create images that are rich with psychological and symbolic references, inviting the viewer to engage in an emotional way. Her multidisciplinary practice spans across various mediums including photography, poetry, textiles and archival materials.
