Shih-Hung Yang (born in 1992), a Taiwanese photographer with a master’s degree in Physics, is currently the director of Shashin Photography Studio. With a diverse and cross-disciplinary background, he enjoys visiting art galleries and museums in his spare time. Shih-Hung captures fleeting moments through photography, inviting viewers to engage in a deep, emotional dialogue with the image.
With nearly eight years of experience in photography, Shih-Hung specializes in using realistic lighting and shadow techniques to portray architectural spaces, weaving together stories of reason and emotion. In his artistic creations, he employs lyrical and symbolic imagery to infuse each photo with a sense of vibrant life. Through his distinctive aesthetic vision, Shih-Hung brings to life an evocative world of emotional fantasy through his photographic works.
In Taiwan, he has held and participated in over ten solo and group exhibitions. He has received multiple honors in five major international photography competitions—IPA, PX3, TIFA, BIFA, and MIFA—including two golds, two silvers, and four bronzes. In 2018, he exhibited at the Business Art Fair held at Espace de Nesle, where he was awarded third place by the event’s official jury.
