About Artist

Kari Rowe

An artist, mother, activist, and native /european mixed woman. Kari knows what it is to live in two worlds. She is Oglala Lakota, turtle mountain ojibwe and eruopean. finding a place in our industry as a young mixed race woman was nearly impossible, so over the last 20 years she has made one. Using her art she has managed to create a space where others like herself can feel seen heard and supported.
