Kaede Lyu works under the artist name “kaedeco.” Based in Toyama, Japan, she is a fine art photographer whose work explores memory, humor, and quiet storytelling through carefully composed imagery.
She graduated from Kansai Gaidai University and spent a year studying film and photography at Portland State University in Oregon, USA, as an exchange student. After graduation, she returned to Toyama and worked as a photographer at a local photo studio for three years.
Later transitioning into education, she is currently working as a high school English teacher while actively pursuing her career as a fine art photographer.
Awards include Nominee at the Fine Art Photography Awards (2024) and Nominee at the reFocus Awards (2025).
