Nhan Tran

Nhan Tran (Nhàn) is a Vietnamese documentary photographer and filmmaker based between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Her work focuses on long-term stories, drawing attention to social issues and exploring women's subjectivity as they navigate life’s uncertain terrains. She applies a variety of media techniques and is currently working on her first featured documentary film. Her works are published by the Licas News, Le Monde, The Times, Associated Press, the Polis Project, and among others. She is a member of Women Photograph and Up Next Photographers, which is a part of Diversify Photo, an Objectifs Documentary Award recipient, and a National Geographic Society grantee. She is currently in Hanoi and available for assignments across Vietnam.
