About Artist

Mariana Greif

Mariana Greif is a documentary photographer and videomaker based between Rio de Janeiro and Montevideo. Her work explores themes of disability, gender, environment, and community through long-term, collaborative projects. She is a fellow of the International Women’s Media Foundation and a member of Women Photograph and Diversify Photo. Mariana’s work has been published in The New York Times, The Guardian, and Reuters, and exhibited across Latin America, North America, and Europe.
