Wiktor Franko has been working in both artistic and commercial photography for over a decade. He is the author of numerous publications and exhibitions. His work has been featured in Polish and international photography, fashion, and lifestyle magazines such as Label Magazine, Foto, the Italian Fashion World Magazine, the British Oppa Magazine, the French Cleptafire, Iceland’s Reykjavik Boulevard Magazine, the American Papercut Magazine, and China’s Prime Magazine. He has also collaborated with Charaktery and Art and Business, creating numerous cover shoots and editorial projects. Franko has participated in both solo and group exhibitions, including shows in London, Paris, Berlin, and Warsaw. His photography has been recognized in various competitions, including two Grand Prix awards at the Viva Photo Awards. Since 2018, he has been a brand ambassador for Fujifilm. He creates photographic projects using Fuji cameras and conducts workshops focused on portrait photography and visual storytelling. Currently, he works professionally with musicians, producing album covers and promotional photo sessions. He collaborates with leading music labels. In 2018, Franko published his first book (photography album), Vol. 1, featuring a selection of works from the previous ten years. The book was released by the DIFA Foundation. He is currently working on his next publication. His photography ranges from classic black-and-white portraits and lifestyle series to surreal, conceptual works. A strong advocate of traditional photographic techniques, he works with Polaroid and various analog cameras. For Franko, the most important elements in photography are atmosphere, mood, surprise, wit, and authenticity. He often introduces an unexpected element into his images — something that subtly disrupts reality and transforms it into a more surreal experience. He lives and works in Warsaw.
