Bio

After a career in photojournalism, then a subsequent MS degree from Brooks Institute of Photography, I started shooting commercial and editorial work focused on celebrity portraiture, architecture and products. My love has always been with cars though, and my work has shifted that direction. I currently photograph vehicles, products and people of the automotive world for commercial and editorial clients, as well as private car collectors wishing to document their cherished vehicles. My visual style usually involves supplementary lighting of on-location subjects. Whether it's a racer's portrait for a magazine cover lit with a beauty dish, a new car part for a manufacturer wrapped with soft studio light, or light painting a vehicle for a double page spread beauty shot, my style is usually colorful and thoughtfully lit.
