We went to watch the sunset and she wanted to stay in the car. I walked to the edge of the mountain to photograph the clouds and when I turned around realized the better photo was behind me.

Music and Movement

On a snow day this winter my kids left their sleds in our ice-covered driveway. I noticed that this icicle was reflecting the colors from the sleds and making them look like frozen ribbons of color.

Bronze

Light cuts through the woods and puts a baby Barred Owl in dramatic light where it sits on a dead tree after fledging from it's nest. Always amazing to see such a wonder of nature.
