Irena Menk is a Brazilian-Spanish multidisciplinary artist. Her ongoing photography project ‘I SEA YOU’ reflects a life lived mostly overseas and by the sea. For her, the sea is a liminal space: bridging self and other, dream and reality. Influenced by Jung, her surreal yet untouched images align in a flowing frame: I (the) SEA (&) YOU, a story of water and time.
