Guillermo Gutiérrez (Shutter Release) is a Mexican photographer and architect with a long-standing career in professional photography and media production. From a young age, Guillermo immersed himself in the world of photography, cultivating his talent and developing a career that has led him to work with a wide range of media, clients, and projects. Throughout his career, he has explored multiple facets of the photographic arts, participating in commercial, documentary, educational, and artistic projects—always driven by an unwavering passion for image-making. His work has resulted in the creation of a vast archive of images that not only document his career but also form an integral part of his personal and professional story. However, his perspective on photography has evolved over time. Nowadays, Guillermo acknowledges the fast pace of modern life, where work, stress, and urgency have turned our everyday images into reflections of a complex world. In response to this reality, Guillermo has launched the project “Images for Your Spaces”, an initiative aimed at generating pleasant sensations through photography and contributing a positive, aesthetic dimension to the environments we live in. This project invites people to disconnect from the daily rush and enjoy images created to be appreciated without worry—simply for the pleasure of contemplation.
