Bio

Ananya Singhal (b. 1984) is an architect and an amateur Indian photographer living between India and Great Britain. His artistic practice stems from an empathetic exploration of wildlife, communities, cultures, and natural heritage. His photographic work embodies strong architectural sensibilities and structure, distilled by deliberate play of light and shadow. The photographs draw sharp focus landscape and wildlife, and their present fragility —within the framework of high-contrast, black and white compositions that celebrate beauty and hope in their visual language. Ananya’s photography has been shown at Artists Unite for Healthworkers (2025), 47-A, Mumbai (2024), Silk Mill, Frome (2016), and Bougainvillaea Gallery, Udaipur (2015). Ananya co-founded the international award winning architectural practice Studio Saar in 2020 and joined the management team at Secure Meters in 2012.
