Originally an abstract painter, Shannon Taggart’s art is always a work in progress. She has enjoyed placements in galleries in Arizona and has won awards for her work. In her newest metamorphosis, she has delved into the world of Macro and Mega Macro photography. In her words, she tells her viewers, “I want you to experience the tiniest details of even the most common items in our world.” Nothing Ms. Taggart sees is safe from her Mega Macro photography, from the bubbles in a glass of beer to the beauty inside a 3 carat diamond. Shannon Taggart is a member of Artists in Arizona and has won awards for both her acrylic art and Macro Photography from the Camelback Gallery. Her paintings are also part of the 3 year Embedded Program with the Found:re Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona.
