About Artist

KM Smith

KM Smith is a lens-based artist living in Southern California. He took up photography as a child, using a borrowed camera and learning lab techniques in a community dark room. Following successful careers in the music and healthcare industries, he completed a formal, two-year mentorship program, which included critique from the fine art faculty at the University of Utah and Concordia College. His work has been included in juried exhibitions at Modern Visual Arts Gallery, Black Box Gallery, Art Scene West and Decagon Gallery.
