Infinite Loop

In 2016, I visited Panna Meena Kund in stepwell Jaipur, and was captivated by its MC Escher-like design. Returning in February 2024, I worked to combine the memory of MC Escher, architectural beauty, and the Kalbelian tribal custom of water gathering.

About Artist

Barry Crosthwaite

My passion for photography and travel began in childhood, inspired by National Geographic. In university, with my first proper camera and B&W film, this interest grew. After a year traveling in Europe and North Africa with Kodachrome, I chose a career in business and finance over art school. Fortunately, my finance career allowed me to travel and continue developing my photography. Since retiring in 2021, I’ve focused on exploring the other side of my mind, inspired by light, color, and the world’s diversity.
