I am an avid amateur photographer who began shooting after the death of my daughter in 2009 from complications of the swine flu. I turned to photography then and since then as a means to cope with grief. In the warmth of the light I feel safe and insulated. The image I submitted to me evinces the power of imperfection and a union of serenity, love and memories.
