Heather is a Florida-based photographer who focuses her lens on the environment and culture of her home state. Having been born and raised in Florida, she has a deep appreciation for all that it is and hopes to share its beauty with the world in an effort to protect it. She takes this same love and enthusiasm with her on her travels to other parts of the U.S. and beyond. She also enjoys teaching others about art, photography, nature, history and culture through her photography and related work. When she's not doing photography, she works full-time as an academic librarian promoting textbook affordability and open education.
