The works of the internationally award-winning photographer can be found in exhibitions all over the world. The images on display stem from his admiring and idiosyncratic perspective on 20th century fashion and portrait photography. His clear vision of the chiaro-scuro and his very specific minimalist image design, characterized by his penchant for geometric forms, distinguish his works. The photo artist Wolfgang Gangl, who was born 1977 in Vasoldsberg/Graz/Austria, takes photos since his early childhood. Back then it was the fascination with the simple analog camera, the click and then the surprise when the pictures came back from developing, that triggered the interest for photography. Today there is no big difference. The fascination stayed, even when he changed the analog camera from the old days to a digital medium format camera.
