My way
At fourteen, I walked around Paris on film. At eighteen, I wanted to see the
world. I landed in New York for two years, with round trips to
Jamaica, Gabon... I came back, I left again on digital to
get closer to the world, always alone because with several people, even two people,
there is inevitably a constraint. Alone, I am well in front of it.
I have changed, I have appreciated the pleasure of being in a team, finding a rhythm
together.
As far back as my memory takes me, I have always had the need to go to
meet others. An urgency to live in the present. A photo is a
privileged, decisive moment, a vector of encounters. Whether in a
closed space like in the Paris metro or abroad, my approach
remains the same: it is in this connection that the journey takes place; A moment
of weightlessness where I know I am in my place.
I find my breath, my inspiration, my weightlessness, my adrenaline.
In this adventure of wandering, I discovered the pleasure of patience
sometimes grace.
I made images because it was a necessity in my opinion. My
method, you might ask? Sometimes I trigger my camera, sometimes not
