Daniel Ceng is an award-winning photojournalist covering political, environmental and social issues, spot news, war and more across the world, with experiences in Europe, West Asia, East Asia, South Asia and Southeast Asia. ​ Currently, Daniel is a photojournalist for Anadolu Agency -- Türkiye's official news agency and one of the world's leading wire services. He is also a member of the Photojournalists’ Center of the Philippines (PCP). Before that, he had worked with international media outlets, including European Pressphoto Agency, AFP, The Associated Press, and The Sydney Morning Herald. His notable coverage experiences include deadly earthquake in Cebu, Philippines (2025), Cambodia-Thailand Border Conflict (2025), South Korea martial law crisis (2024-2025), deadly Hualien earthquake in Taiwan (2024), Türkiye-Syria earthquake (2023), Russian war on Ukraine (2022), and protest against discrimination against Muslims in India (2020), among other key events and breaking news across the world. ​ Throughout the years, Daniel has received numerous prestigious titles and awards, including Winner of the Year in Photojournalism (Professional Group) in the European Photography Awards, 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the International Photography Awards (IPA), Best of Portfolio in Taiwan Press Photo Contest, among dozens of others. Daniel has lived and worked in a number of multicultural and multiracial places, including the Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taipei. He sees himself as a citizen of the world.
